Dan Frost graduated from George Brown Collage in 1986 and completed his carpentry apprenticeship in 1989. He worked as a carpenter for twelve years in multiple related fields. After seeing the explosion of the personal computer era, he was drawn in by the emerging technology. His first computer was an IBM XT PC he had bought it from someone who worked at Eatons and was offered to buy
their old computer from work. Paid two hundred dollars and it ran from doss shell, from that point he was a believer.
Dan started his tech carrier fixing computers and removing spyware, gaining his firm grasp of the basics. He developed his love for building web sites after he saved up enough money for Microsoft Frontpage, a WYSIWYG editor (what you see is what you get) After that he spent a lot of time building websites for small business and individuals.
Dan still builds websites, and also has worked as a photographer and a videographer. He also has worked as a journalist/reporter for a few Toronto based web sites. He hopes his wealth of experience will help propel our site Life in The 6 to a trusted source of news and culture for the residents of the Greater Toronto Area.
Dan has always been an advocate of all forms of two wheeled transportation, haven driven bike’s, motorcycles and now e Bikes. He support’s bike lanes and the idea that cars and other forms of transit can share the road, or at the very least coexist. He has lost friends on the streets of this province and this topic is very important to him. It is of no surprise to anyone that he is our That e Bike Dude.
